On a visit to the South Lakes Wildlife Park near Dalton in Furness, Cumbria, I was confronted by this peacock which must have known I wanted a photo as it immediately presented its beautiful tail for just a few seconds. Just long enough to get this image.
Feel free to look through my other images in my archives.
As always I’d love to know what you think of any of them.
Just beautiful John – I love peacocks & am always trying to get a great photo of one myself but they never seem to show for me like this. When I was a kid, there was an old farmer who lived up behind my granny’s house in Northern Ireland & he had peacocks running free around the place. That’s something I’d like to have one day.
Peacocks are wonderful to look at, but so annoying if they dont stop this noise 😛
Wow! Look at the different shades of blue on him. Very nice indeed!
Thank you.
Lovely photo of a beautifully majestic creature
Absolutely perfect!
they are spectacular, aren’t they?
great shot, love the color.
